I am first JAPAN of him, AI9V IL USA



 AI9V Marty wrote I am first Japanese station in 30 years as above. We had QSO in October 2011 at 15m band CW.

    Hello Joe-

    I just ran across this post thinking of my old friend, AI9V. Marty and I worked together in Chicago at the Illinois Institute of Technology at the High Performance Computing Research Data Center. Marty passed away in September of 2015, and he is greatly missed by us all.
