Central America, no QSO is El Salvadol, QSL no yet is Honduras. Other countries are worked and confirmed.

RI1FJ in HEISS Island, Franz Jozef Land of Arctic Russia, we contacted this October on 15m and 20m band CW.

This QSL changes via Russian QSL manager.

TI5XP Costa Rica Card Arrived

Central American Costa Rica Station TI5XP contacted this September on 40m band.

As back side of the card, he heard on 6m band Japanese station "JH1 something" station's signal. But I don't have good antenna of 6 meter band as him, it of mine is only discone of VHF & UHF 6m to 70cm bands, for my QTH among the mountains - not opens passes of VHF & UHF.

PZ1DV Suriname Card arrived

Suriname station, north of South America, PZ1DV contacted with me this OCT. on 15m band. He is the my first Suriname station.

QSL returned very fast within 1 month.

Now no QSO countries of South America are Guiana and French Guiana. No QSL are Venezuera, Peru and Chile.

H74LEON Nicaragua Card arrived

The city of Leon, Nicaragua, in where H74LEON is oprated by YN4SU-Bengt.

We contacted OCT. this year on 30m band. QSL returned very fast within 1 month.

In Central America, no contact country remains only El Salvador. No QSL are Panama, Costa Rica and Honduras.

Belize of Central America station V31BD, we contacted OCT. 2010 on 40m band. My first paper QSL of this zone without LoTW.

My Equipment Collection (4) -- Keyers

My keyers now using are MFJ-490 (this side) and Vibroplex BRASS RASER + home brew memory keyer (the other, base board of keyer is a supplement of CQ hamradio magazine of JARL).

Usually I am using MFJ, but when two Transceivers are active I use both.

Other I have a few straight keyers and Bencher Paddle.

I am almost all operate by CW, then Keyers are my very important equipments.

JY4NE Jordan station we had QSO in September this year on 15m band. Card exchanges via manager of USA.

Other my QSO for Arabia peninsula countries are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Iraq, Qatar and Israel.

My first AFRICA on 17m band, ZAMBIA. Operator is a Japanese -right side, and perhaps his Students.

There is a lady in them. so fair and seems to clever, then she joins students only one female member, I think.

we contacted oct. this year on 15m band. He says first CW on 15m.

Now 15m band for Europe seems to downward to close this season. Fall DX season of this year may be closing.

CU3HQ Azores Card arrived

Azores Islands are solitary islands in the middle of the Atlantic which belong to Portugal.

CU3HQ operates at Terceira Island one of this islands. We contact September of this year on 20m band CW.

Autumn Condition 2010

It seems to begin Autumn DX season. From the end of September, condition of propagation changes.

Now my operation style is, on 1000-1200JST(+9UT) for North America 20m band and at this time occasionally opens 17m band, 1600-1800 for Europe 15m band, 2000-2200 for North America 40m band.

30m band opens later about 0600-0700 for Europe and more DX, Africa or Atlantic.

Often early morning in gray zone times, 80m band begins to open DX, for example, VK, OH, etc.

4S7KM Sri Lanka, we contacted in April, 2010 on 40m band.

GU4CHY Guernsey Island, we contacted May 2010 on 20m band.

This Island in Channel Islands between England and France. This Islands is a own possession of Queen of UK. Then Guernsey, also Jersey has original government and postal stamps.

But military affairs and diplomacy belongs to government of UK.

3A2MD Laura of Monaco, we contacted on 20m band in April 2010.

She is so active, many Japanese HAMs seem to contact with her.

Her rig which used to contact with me was YAESU FT-990 same to FT-1011 named in JAPAN, I also use this machine to the QSO with her !

My first get of this entity Republic of San Marino.

My Equipment Collection (3) -- Other Tranceivers

YAESU FT-817 portable transceiver is a tiny and light weight, but all band all mode (below 430MHz) 5W equipment. We can this for field use by wide scenes, driving, hiking, mountain criming, outdoor sports, etc.
Many HAMs operate QRP DXing by this, I sometimes contact DX stations who operates at his home shack by this FT-817.



YAESU FT-857 small size all band all mode 100W equipment, suitable for mobile or field operation. And this is fit to main rig for beginners.



This ICOM's IC-706 was a first small size HF and VHF 100W equipment below 144MHz.



This ICOM IC-729 Below 50MHZ 100W machine was used my CW beginning, practical 7 MHz domestic QSO.

US east coast opens today

US east coast opens today after a long intervals. on 20m and 30m band opens from 1100z 8,august.

I got contacts Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, etc.

Today sunspot number ups 47, so opens DX ?

My Equipment Collection (2) -- Tranceivers of beginning HAM Radio

In 1991 I was first licensed as low end 4th class license of JAPAN - 10w not CW below 40m bands and above 15m bands.

My first HF tranceiver is YAESU FT-747SX, simple and low end 10w equipment. But by this machine I contacted overseas stations at first on air day !

Now, added CW filter, sometimes I play this equipment.




My first VHF, UHF FM equipment is KENWOOD TH-77 handheld transceiver.
By this I learn contact skill and made many friends on the air.
Now this is a my main handheld VHF, UHF FM equipment.

YAESU FT-1011 is equipment of my CW DX beginning. One of my favorites.



YAESU FT-2000 is new one of mine. But I use few times. This is a My first IF DSP processing Equipment.

On card written 2003, but we contact at 2008. He operates again, and uses same card.
Date record is written 2008.

He is a Deutch ham, we contact on 30m band.

AP2TN Pakistan QSL Card arrived

Amature radio station of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, AP2TN Tariq in Karachi and I contact on jul-20m and aug-30m 2008.

This card is my first of Pakistan.

EI8DD Ireland Card arrived

EI8DD Ireland station, Galway bay Hookers, West coast of Ireland, We contacted july 6 2009.

It is the first getting Paper QSL of Ireland.

At last, DXCC (mixed,cw) is completed !

DXCC is completed. 101 entities confirmed on LoTW today. DXCC mixed and CW class is completed, then I'll effort for other class, each bands or challenge course.

Last confirmed entities is not so DX entities, OGASAWARA and Mariana islands.

Otherwise only QSL card not LoTW entities are about 25 entities.
